Ask CheapHolidays to stop encouraging tourists to “watch a bull fight”

6 Sep

Please join our appeal to to stop suggesting that tourists “watch a bullfight” while holidaying in Spain.

On its website, the Essex-based company says:

Why not watch a flamenco show or a bull fight?

You can start by appreciating the local culture and head to the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza and watch the Spanish tradition of bull fighting. Attached to the arena is a museum which explains the history of the sport in Spain.

An idea for the adults is to take a trip to Plaza de Toros which is a bullfighting arena.

In an email to the company, the Irish Council Against Blood Sports highlighted the terrible suffering inflicted on bulls and the upset and shock caused to holidaymakers lured in to bullfighting venues.

Please contact the company now and call for the bullfighting content to be removed.
