Ask London’s Chillisauce Ltd to stop selling bullfight tickets and encouraging tourists to visit Spanish bullrings.
On its website, the event planning company suggests a visit to a bullfight in Madrid, describing it as a “fever pitched spectacle of colour, danger and death in the 20,000 seat bullring.” Elsewhere, visitors to the site are told not to miss a trip to the biggest bullfighting ring in Spain.
In an email to the company, the Irish Council Against Blood Sports highlighted the cruelty of bullfighting and the fact that many tourists lured in to bullrings are left feeling shocked and disgusted at the bloody violence.
Ask Chillisauce to show compassion and reject bullfighting.

Take in this fever pitched spectacle of colour, danger and death in the 20,000 seat bullring. The fight, seen as more of a cultural ritual than competitive sport, is judged by the fans or aficionados based on artistic merit and control. Ernest Hemmingway said of it, ‘Bullfighting is the only art in which the artist is in danger of death and in which the degree of brilliance in the performance is left to the fighter’s honour.’ Who said culture was boring?!
