Hare hit, tossed and mauled at an Irish coursing event

5 Sep

A hare is hit, tossed and mauled by greyhounds at a coursing meeting in Ireland in February 2012.

The hare is likely to have suffered life-threatening internal injuries as a result. In this Irish Council Against Blood Sports-filmed footage, you can see the hare being carried off the field. This indicates that the creature is no longer able to walk or run.

Please support our campaign which is seeking to get coursing banned in Ireland. Click on “Campaigns” at http://www.banbloodsports.com to find out how you can help.
